Other thing is... how to hone this NOS set without destroying gold wash. I know ONE CORRECT answer is to hone without tape. Any alternative solutions that might be implemented? Are those razor even A good razors? Does anyone has experience with this brand? Are they Superb, very good or just good shavers?

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support.

I think just about all of us have it. Some more than others. I went a little cuckoo and bought about 20 razors off the 'Bay in the last month and a half that. I desperately needed each one for some reason or another. And that's not including the near new 5 day set of Heribert Wacker razors that I got for a steal. And, there is also another cure for RAD. It's called a pissed off wife who just saw the month end bank statement!!!!!

    OK,

now this is fact. I have already got few more razors and I can`t stop looking for more. However I do select what i really want to buy. Other thing I start focusing on natural stone hones. i seen few nice Jnats... but they are really expensive... Still looking for RAD cure...

    That's not a cure, that's a symptom.

To the OP: gorgeous set of razors! I'd go ahead and hone without tape. Just steer clear of slurries. In my experience, coti slurries can have particles large enough to scratch the blade a fair distance in from the edge.

RAD comes in waves lol. I find each new wave tends to up the bar on my "must have it" razor.

I find this to be true as well. My hope is that after my newest acquisition my bar is raised high enough I won't be able to afford my next "must have" razor so my RAD will die out simply due to my standards and checkbook status.
