    hellrazor,
Great stuff! Consider yourself a lucky person to be using such a beautiful tool that is rich in family history.
Enjoy it in the best of health. I am sure your great grandfather would be proud of you.

I get so envious of the lucky guys who get to use family heirlooms (in a good way, of course)
Consider yourself lucky to have such an item.
I wish you many good shaves with it and may you pass it down to your offspring.

Way cool. I am jealous. I felt lucky when I got my Grandfather's (he raised me) shaving mug and I use it every day. I still remember hearing the clinking of his brush handle against the sides of the mug when he stirred up lather growing up. It's really great when you have a link to your forebearers.

yea i really enjoy it even though i know nothing about him except his name. but the razor seems to shave pretty good considering not a german magic steel or anthing like that but seems to hold a great edge. i really want to get some mwf soap i think i will like it. my van der hagen gets really dry and sticky on my face no matter what i try.
