If im looking at an ebay auction and there isnt much detail listed sometimes I will scale the razor according to the pin (depending on the photos angle it may or may not be possible)
Id call that 15/16, but thats still a guess at best.

Also worth noting the scales are not original, and have been transplanted from a likely larger donor. Not many razors out there much larger than 8/8 (of course there are, were just not lucky enough to find on the bay)

You could probably find out by asking the seller.
I do that a lot and they are, normally, quite accomodating - after all, it's in their own best interest to supply this info.
OTOH it also gets the attention of people like us, which may drive the price up, too

Haha you all crack me up. Its not from ebay, its off another site. Don't care about the scales, the blade seems to be in good condition though. Sent the seller an email, hope they get back to me. I just thought one of you may have been able to size it up knowing its a Rodgers No. 6 and by looking at the pics, that said pictures can be decieving.

To answer the OP it's almost impossible to determine size without something of a known size to measure. But you are lucky today because I have the same scales.

I then measured the picture off my phone and the same measurement in the picture is 14.66

The heel of the blade on my phone measures 12.91, the mid portion 13.88, the toe 14.69

Setting up some simple math proportions gives me the answer.

The toe of the blade in real life would be 2.48 cm, the mid portion 2.34 and the heel 2.15.

There are 2.54 cm in an inch so no part of that is over an inch in thickness.

The toe is over 15/16 but not quit 8/8. The heel is between 13/16 and 7/8.

    Hope it helps.

This old FR is between 15/16ths and 8/8

Pretty much the same razor as posted except for the maker and Doc was right on!

With all the spine wear I see, it's a 7/8. It might have been 15/16ths during world war I, but it's a 7/8 now.
