This is very interesting. Reminds me of Forrest Gump, "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get." Cool razor with some interesting history.

The owner of the Zephyr trademark was Marx & Cie.(Marx & Co.), Solingen. The trademark was registered in 1900, No. 41547.
At the beginning of the 20th century, closer to WWI, Adolph Kastor became the owner of many German and English trademarks. His brother, Nathan Kastor established a factory, the Germania Cutlery Works in Solingen. Another brother, Sigmund Kastor is a controlling director of Wade & Butcher in Sheffield during WWI specializing in straight razors.
So. May be, your razor is one of Kastor Brothers products.
Thank you for the info Alex. Would seem the best of both worlds

I have a zephyr with the exact same font on the stamp, but mine doesn't have a W&B stamp on the back. In fact, the two are identical in size, shape, and grind (mine is in a rougher shape). I always thought it to be German because of how it honed up and shaved. This is interesting. I may have to go look for mine now. I don't remember where it is.

Nice score, Oz! Unusual to be certain. The light Manah has shed on it is most interesting!
