Thread: found old razors

    The Shumate has a couple of very small spots of rust. The Blue Steel Special is in pretty good shape except the handle is broken. The Pheasant Special has quite a bit of rust. The King Cuttler is in fairly decent shape except one side of the handle is broken off.

    There's a few places on the net that sells replacement scales (plastic) for good prices or if you are handy you can make your own, if not you could send them out for repair. The Boker and the Blue Steel are both known great razors.

    OK. Thanks. I just found these and have to decide what I want to do. I'm looking all over the net trying to learn more about this. Just learned that what I was calling handles are called scales, never would have guessed that one.

    I've never tried these guys, but the prices are good Razor Scales & Pin kits
