I haven't used anything bigger than a 13/16, but the size of the blade I think will depend on how you shave. Not everyone shaves the same. I have a 4/8 that I shave differently with around my nose than I do with my 13/16, but they both shave as razors are supposed to. I find the bigger blades tend to need alittle more finesse in the tight spots, but that doesn't mean that they will shave any worse than a smaller blade. This is all just my opinion. In fact I have been looking to get a nice big chopper.
