Okay, that's the second razor I was outbid on to show up here.
There's only one more (the Colleye with the engraved blade).
This one is mighty tasty, I have to say! I was kind of relying on having it in-hand to clean up the stamps and figure out who made it, but the style of the blade was sufficiently unusual for me to throw some cash at it to find out.
I'm guessing it's going to shave real good!

Aha, found one!
You've clearly got an earlier model from the same maker, there. The general look of the razor you've got tells me 1860's, but I have very little hands-on time with French razors, and my antique-sense is calibrated for Sheffield.

It's a french razor from Thiers it dates from about 1870, the trademark of Brossard is a spoon (cuillière)

Wow up until now I have not seen a spine thicker than the tang of a razor.
That looks like it will impart a lot of downward force onto the cutting edge.
Very interesting razor.
