Default Carl Wusthoff Gladiatorwerk Solingen Razor

Hello, I bought an CARL WUSTHOFF GLADIATORWERK Solingen Razor on Ebay, and I don't find any info about. Is this an Wusthoff razor? Is a 6/8 ,
extra hollow, take an very sharp and smoth edge, the blade is like a paper, very very thin. Thank you.

I like Wusthoff razors as well
This one looks to be a travel razor that is incomplete. The plastic upper part of the case would slide over the razor with the scales forming the base of the case.
Looks to be in perfect condition otherwise

I think Carl was the father or a relative of Ed. (Eduard) Wusthoff which company is still going strong today in Solingen Germany.

Thank you. I will shave with and post the facts. I have two Ed Wusthoff in my rotation, excellent shavers, keep the edge very long time.

Good idea, but, most likely, it's wrong.
Carl Wüsthof KG, Gladiator-Stahlwarenfabrik was founded in 1895 and registered 8th August 1930.

Eduard Wüsthof was founded in 1814.
All this time, they were different companies ...and they both are in business till now ...and they are different companies.

Size: 8.3 KB I believe that this is the one that's being discussed. Was just on eBay. Auction is ended.
