    No i did not even attempt it, I just could not imagine how am I going to keep it flat on the stone and at the same time not apply pressure to finish it the thing was so heavy, the metal scales threw the balance to hell. I think it makes for a very nice decoration piece though.

    Well, I had no scales big enough. One day I looked up and hanging on the wall was the joke sweeney! It worked well, but really too heavy! Wish I still had it like that....sent the blade out for scales......been 8 months!
