Pardon my ignorance, rattler is a term I'm not familiar with. Would you care to elaborate?

Rattler is the type of grind that razor is. Stiff spine with an extra hollow blade, often mistakenly called a faux frameback. Originally Posted by unit

Hmmmm Yes and no, they are still called Faux-Framebacks, and some are also stamped "Rattler" they are sometimes referred to as a Flat grind also, I think there is an even more technical term for the type of grind it is too, but the name escapes me ATM...

Edit to add....the shave went very well. It shaves better than I do
