    IŽll post an image of a quite interesting razor, with the scale made of horn an the washers in rossette, the maker mak is completly loosed but you can see a ....Crown R and the last letters, by the form of the scale and blade I thik could be G crown R but is better the professors say anathin about it, thanks

    It looks suspiciously like a rasor of mine, a Wada & Butler.
    Scales and rosette washers seem similar. I love mine.

    You have a very nice , very old razor . It most likely dates to the latter part of the 1700's . The crown , along with the letters GR , means the razor was made during the reign of King George , of England . You're very lucky to have such a razor , please don't mess it up .

    Tomorrow, because I habenŽt here now the razor here, IŽll post more photos with it open sown the blade , (if i could iŽll post it todaw) Unfortunely youŽll could see that the first letter down the rest of the crown is lost, and iI only can make congetures with the form of the crown, IŽll post too a frontal blade photo, because I need youŽll help me with the proportions you use I cant understand many thanks at all, and waigth for the rest images, the form of the blade is strage

    Yes STR8Fencer the only diference I can see across my ignorance is that mine habe not stairs in blade, well IŽm trying splain mysef, if you look yours the blade is like a T mote or less, do you undertand? because IŽm not sure IŽm undertanding I said but mine makes a triangle, well more or less too....OH! itŽs a bit dificult, thanks nevertheless

    If its really that old you may not want to do anything with it. Nice piece of history.

    I was mistaken , your razor is not as old as I thought . Now that I see the blade , I'm thinking 1820- 1850 . It's still a very nice razor , just not quite as old as I thought .
