    Actually it is a one inch blade, which is the same as 8/8 "for Barbers Use" all original..scales are horn,bulls eye pins etc..

    Am blessed to have alot of very nice razors,but this 9/8 is my baby,best shaver Ihave ever used.

    I see that it is 8/8 according to the ruler. I meant that it was likely larger 150 years ago. Beautiful piece regardless.

    1830's - 1840's ?? ivory! Maybe? .
    Blades pretty worn.

    Edit: this thread is not meant to be like the butcher shop, this is to post photos about a select set of W&B razors, not necessarily your own collection. I could not find a thread like it. So why not BS about them..

    Well, because your razor is probably ivory scaled as to the collarless peens in spite of the rest.
    This thread does indeed resemble the "Butcher Shop" Razor club!
    I have been wrong, but I think, in this case, I am right!
    No one appreciates Wade and Butcher Razors as much as I do.

    It really matters not
    JMHO.
