Thread: Already buying a second Straight Razor lol

So, I have been shaving with a straight for a little over a month I believe, maybe a bit longer. Well, today the bug bit me again and I couldn't help but order another razor. Hope this doesn't happen to me too frequently might end up very poor but with a very happy face.

That bug can be the most annoying one, but also the most pleasant one. It has a tendency to come back over and over again don't you think?

If you have lasted over a month you should feel pretty safe, I hadn't even shaved with my first razor yet when I bought the second

It's not a bad disease, there are lots of worse things one can spend money on

There's at least a million straight razor's out there for you own

Oh you have been bitten for sure. It is addictive this RAD, there is no 12 step recovery group, just us and we are all afflicted. Glad you are with us as we wonder the path to BBS. BTW several months ago I gave my barber a Str8 with enough gear to get him started. Last week when I saw him he told me that he had another barber use it to shave him and the comment was:" It's the best razor I've ever used." So you can see the fluid nature of RAD. It looks scary to use a Str8, but the shave is so well worth the time and investment and the fun just keeps on keeping on. Good luck, my friend. I'm glad you are one of us!!!

Just 2? The bug can bite u pretty hard and fast. In my case, I started over 2 months ago and as of now, I already have 12 SR!!! So I know what you're going through..

You really can't give them a proper REST if you only have 2. That's why there are 7 day sets!

I have'nt even been shaving for a month and I have 5 good ones, 3 on the way to get restored, 4 blades waiting to have scales puton and two coming in the mail...
