New razors galore???

Hey guys,
can anyone send me in the right direction to get a few (no more than 40) custom made brand new blades? I want to do stuff with the scales etc, but I want some awesome blades and I just can't do those shenanigans...

There are only a handful of custom razor makers out there who are always turning out razors & they are one man shows.

Doing that, and want to either wreck a few newies/ give them away if the prototype comes off! I have a loooot of time!

Let me get this straight: you want 40 awesome custom blades so that you can 'do stuff with scales'? That is a rather odd request.

Do you want to buy them all at once?
As scott already mentioned: There are not that many qualified custom razor makers around that I know of. Certainly less than the number of razors you want.

And even without scales: you are going to pay 200 to 1000$ per blade, depending on what shape and materials you want.

Doubtless I forgot several people (not even counting some who may be member on another shaving forum instead of thisone) but still: if you want 40 blades, you'll have multiple people making multiple razors unless you want to commission them all from 1 person, which may be problematic.

Do you mean buy the razors and rescale them, or would they do some unhoned 'blanks?' Have you heard of this?
