Go with the Dovos. I have both TI's and Dovos and the Dovo's shave hands down alot better
and cost less.

Thanked: 1Get the TI! I like the black one. Don't care much for Ironwood - I think that's what he other is. You can probably get ebony 7/8 for 250 or bone for 300. (5/8 or 6/8 would be cheaper) Have fun shopping!!!

TI's Le Canadien are great razors. Nice edge and stays sharp. I have one and really like it. You mention that you find the Dovo a little small, well the TI is a small razor. I don't own a Dovo but compare to the vintage blades I have, it has a shorter blade, which I actually like but it might not be your cup of tea. The satin finish on the TI is nice too.

$300 razor for christmas but wich one?
Oh, yeah, i got the hart 7/8 cocobolo, polished finish, its even more beautiful in person, i cant wait to shave with it, my wife even added a bunch of soaps and creams from crabtree and evelyn, and even a proraso white, im realy happy, thanks you all for your comments and merry christmas.
