So according to that very interesting thread Beardsley and Alvord changed the name to Empire Knife Co. in 1856. If I'm reading it right is it saying that Empire Razor was the stamp between 1853-1856?

It is confusing to me as well. I am confident that this one is all-original. Yes! 'Centennial'!
Seems it was far ahead of it's time or they put 'Razor' on them later?
