That's my "child bride" She's 11 years younger than me.

The engine in that mess is a 10 to 1, 93CI stroker. I figured it would need a bit more of a kicker than factory issue. NOW if only somebody made some gears that wouldn't shell out after a couple of hundred starts..............

I guess I could always put an electric leg on it.

Wow Wullie... that pan's beautiful man! Ok boys, applogies I have no blonde, but here's my little project I'm wrenchin & welding on... Was hoping to be done by now, but I didn't realize what it takes to build a bike from pretty much scratch. Cudos to you Wullie mah man!



It's no pan, but should be a fun little bar hopper. Based on an early 80's Yamaha XS650... That rigid is gonna be kickass... literally!

My 2011 Harley Blackline... My 1st HD and super fun ride. Most of the time it's without the sissy bar but I figured I'd try something new that day.

Those little Yammy bobbers are some kick butt little machines.

I know an old boy that has one of those Honda's in a rigid frame. We call it the buzz bomb. It's reliable and he rides the poo out of it.

I rode one of those new fangled rubber glided soft tail HD's for about 5 miles one time. I was scared the engine was gonna flop out of the frame and when I went around a corner and the suspension did what it was supposed to, I thought the back end had broken loose and I nearly dumped the damn thing trying to get it straight. Got to remember about all I've ever ridden has been rigid junk. I told my buddy he had a really cool bike and I'd stay with my old Knuck, thankyouverymuch.

So, one more issue with the Boker... Taking a closer look at the pics, I realized that the blade has some markings on one side of it... I zoomed in the picture... seems to read "1002" and "REG". Here are the pics...





So, I contacted the seller, and he checked and the marking supposedly are not engraved. Here's a part of the message:

"Yes there is some markings which I believed was part of the companies numbering or sizing system. I am not overly familiar with straight razors so thought it was normal. However it is not an engraving and looks like it can be polished out. "

I can't see it being etched or anything. Maybe someone wrote on it with a permanent marker? He offered to give me my $35 back. Should I? Or ask him for a discount? Just in case the lettering does not buff out, I figure permanent marking would somewhat devalue the razor, wouldn't it? Man I sound like a whiney b&^%*... but I REALLY wanted a nice Boker...

Opinons? Keep 'er? Get the guy to shave off a few $$? Let it slide and buff to my heart content?

Wasn't uncommon to have "your" razor in the barber shop. Names and such were written on the blades with indelible ink or scratched into the scale.

Won't hurt anything and may add some interesting history. It'll buff off with Mother's or MAAS if you don't like it.

Luckily the 2011 is finally a counter-balanced motor, so you can actually see where you're goin at 65 but you're totally right... a bump in the corner totally feels like you're on a dirt tracker And in true HD tradition, the hands still fall asleep after a few miles. Fun times if you need to grab a handfull of your front and can't stretch your cramped up fingers off your throttle, ask me how I know...

Man, the biggest thing I ever kicked over was an old Honda motocross four stroke 650, and the bitch kicked back. I nearly flew over the bars at then a 150lbs soaken wet but I could see how the gears lettin go would suck just as much. Chit always seems to happen when people are watching too...

Man, that totally makes sense... I completely did not think of that. Allright, count me into the Boker Brotherhood! She's a keeper!

Thinking I'll need to get me a pan or a knuck to build in the future. I love the way those engines sound. Especially at idle when they're just barely rolling over. Like a fine drum solo... Dammit! Now I want one... Must... resist going to HDForums... classifieds
