Thanked: 0scale
I have an older razor in very good condition. The only item is that the handle is loose. By that I mean when I shave, I don't have any meaningful counter balance of the razor. I know one or all of the scales may need to be refubished, however I don't want to replace them. Mostly because I just not up for the task. I there any substance that will give some friction so the handle will stay in place? Thanks

You could try tightening the pins by lightly taping the pins. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Just tap very lightly with a very small hammer or other tool and be careful not to crack the scales.
