Well, here they are. Apologies for poor lighting in my terribly dark military pmq... Anyhow, can't make out the etching in pics but it's there. Honed like a dream, shaving tomorrow morning
    Hope you enjoy!

I don't know about individual pieces, unless that is one of a set. Should be a good one.
I was looking up Bohler as it was the only other distinguishing marking on a "sendyks special" that I picked up awhile back and came across this thread.

Interesting stuff. I originally bought the Sendyks as it was a solingen blade manufactured for the French market and further customized for a particular french vendor (the box and the blade etching). I found that to be interesting as most of the French stuff I seem to see is marked Thiers, rarely Paris, very rarely one of the few other french mnfctrng cities or simply not explicitely marked at all as far as the steel origin (which I generally presume to be the French way of quietly conceding that its Sheffield steel. Ha).

Someone mentioned war occupation and that made immediate sense. Then the above quote helped.

Anyway I was looking to hone this later and as I took it out it definitely seems to be of a quality akin to a Puma or similar caliber. Which surprised me. I bought it as sort of a curiosity.

So I was wondering how this turned out as a shaver?? The final report was never filed....

And JimmyHAD -- did you get that Bartmann 7 day set on eBay yesterday??? Someone dropped a single swipe bid in the last second. Man I wanted those.....bad....

Since pictures are mandatory here i think This is the sendyks. Anyone experienced one of these??..Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371817083.576034.jpg
