Well I got my new Hart Steel razor from Classic Edge today and I'm very happy with it. Too bad I already damaged it.

I just finished up my first shave and was cleaning the razor over the sink. I didn't drop it or anything, but as I was wiping down the blade, my hand went kinda squirrely and the blade lightly tapped the side of the sink. Snapped the damn point right off. I swear I'm not meant to have nice things.

Is there anyone I could send it to who might be able to turn it into more of a round-point?

I just bought a Dovo Bismark and I absolutely love it. The craftsmanship is superb and it cuts through my whiskers like butter.

Wow so sorry to hear that! In the future put a damp washrag over your faucet. I use a warm washrag on my face before shaving and use that one over the faucet. I dinged my first one on the faucet on about my 5th shave. I wound up doing about 3 very light strokes on my Norton 8k and knocked the burr out of it and it has worked fine ever since.
