    dry well after use and store it in a cigar box with several silica gel bags.

    I end by Palm Stropping with Vaseline. Just a little rubbed into your palm and you're set go.

    One drop of Hoppes gun oil on a toilet tissue. Wipe the dry razor and "forget about it"

    I've been using it ever since I started June 11 and never used anything else. My razors don't have any rust or marks (unless I put them there ). Could just be coincidence but it does seem to work...

    That's a good test run Carl. I only asked because I've seen people have dramas with non specific use oil in the past.

    I use Renaissance wax. No rust issues at all. When I store a razor, I use WD-40. Works well, removed easy and has a long history of keeping items rust free.
