Sick, disgusting Christmas prank???
Could not believe my eyes this morning when I went out to get the mail. Can you believe someone has given me a free Gillette Fusion? Looks like Gillette is going back to their original marketing ploy that they used in 1904 when King Gillette gave out free razors knowing that people would have to buy his blades when held the sole patent on the DE.

You might be able to sell it on ebay.

Yea, my son got one in the mail several months ago. He thinks its the best thing since sliced bread. He just makes fun of me!
Actually giving them away is smart business savy since the money is in the blades. Just like computer printers. They should give those away too. The money is in the ink cartridges. Highway robbery but don't get me started. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Yep, I got a Fusion in the mail too. Stuffed it unopened into a cardboard box where I also have two unopened Mach 3's, a Sensor XL, and a regular Sensor.. All sent to me from Gillete when each was the "new and hot" item.
The money is in making folk buy the blade cartridges. Now *THAT* is one racket I wish I was in on..

Thanked: 15I too got one in the mail a week or 2 ago. I have admit that I did try it. Since I love my Gillette DE's. I just had to try it. THe fussion is a decent razor. Better than the mach 3 hands down but still not a straight by far. I know I am going to be hammered for trying this razor but sometimes you just got take one for the team and try some stuff out. Wife really likes it to shave her legs with. But I am not going to spend 20 dollars on 4 replacement blades.

Hey nothing to be ashamed of. I'm curious about trying one even though based on my previous experience with disposables, I'll break out with a major itch/rash within hours. The thing is that I'm not willing to pay good money for it lol.

Apparently you guys have pissed off the shaving gods and are being punished. Well, at least they weren't electrics!

Thanked: 0You probably don't want your address displayed publically on the forum.... if the spammers get it, you're screwed.
