if I would like to start learning honing it what should I buy? I just do not want to invest to much,,,..

I have the following leather strop i have recently bought it used.

Is this good for this razor?

You probably should invest in sending your razor for honing, then learn how to shave and maintain the edge on the strop then honing.
That strop will work fine! any linen or cotton on the other side?

How often does the razor needs to be honed?

Also I watch many videos on stropping and if I understood properly, you should strop it before shave and after, correct?
Also how do you know when you need to have the razor honed?
