Thanked: 116Let's See your stainless blades!
A recent ebay ad made me grumpy... the seller said that No one wants to use a stainless for shaving as they are extremely hard to sharpen.
WELL, why don't we all show our stainless blades??? C'mon guys, get them out and give us some eye candy would ya please???

I have two Stainless blades, Dovo Master's and a Wacker.
I have been exclusively shaving with the Dovo for the last year or so (too lazy to wipe the oil off my other razors) Whilst I am careful to dry it off after i shave, it is good that the stainless is more forgiving. No problems at all with honing either of them.

Per request, my Dovo Inox Ebenholz after sharpening out strop damage. It was easier to sharpen than the resto on my rusted carbon steel Red Imp. OH WAIT; don't have to worry about rust so much on a stainless, huh? Maybe that's why it was my FIRST straight razor purchase, before I knew if I would like shaving with a straight razor. (If I had decided to only keep and use it occasionally, I didn't want to have to agonize about rust or losing its edge) If Dovo made a Bismarck or a Flow in stainless, I'd buy it!
