G.Scott barbers on Amen Corner next to the Tyne Bridge.

Cracking bunch. They use shavettes for hygiene reasons but will use your own blade if you take it.

Can hone and strop for you to if you ask nicely, at least they offered to for me.

Thanks for the tip! I'll file that away for the next time I'm up in your part of the world (and my favourite part of England, BTW).

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Alas I live on the south coast now so only visit myself.
It looks all the more stunning when I do go home though.
They also have some very nice scuttles for about £6 each. The same ones are £25 in a shop a little way up Grey Street.

Personally I prefer the north west over the north east. Cumbria's just so much more picturesque. Then again though it is a nice little place I live in.

And I think my mind's made up, I'm going to go for the special due to the lack of stock of the bismarck. Just need to wait for the money to go into my account in a couple of days

I can't agree with Cumbria topping Newcastle's beautiful city centre or Northumberland's rugged landscape but the razor is a good choice.
