Hey pal, glad you are enjoying the straight blade scene...I hope Mrs. C doesn't get mad at me when you scratch your "pretty boy" face.

You definitely got the RAD, I got the RAD as well, but for some reason I dont feel guilty about it. That was not the case with watches.

Man you have some nice razors, I tried substituting HAD for my RAD but it's kind of not working now I just have two habits to support.

So Donut, Where did you go to celebrate your winning the lottery? Don't spend it all in one place.

You're in deep. You need to kick tomorrow, get your money saved and move away to Spain...

    Donut,

Your taste in razors is exquisite.

I started about 10 years ago with new production dovo razors. I thought 4 was more than I would ever need.

I gradually discovered the world of vintage razors through this site. Once I became confident enough with my honing skills, the RAD got much worse as I was no longer limited to seeking out shave ready razors. This means I could purchase gems on ebay at much more interesting prices. The hunt is certainly part of the fun.

I do indulge in pipes and fountain pens, but I do feel less guilty with razors. The ones I like are likely to become more expensive and scarcer as the years go by.

Here is a picture of my cache. I think I may be subconsciously preparing for a Puma drought

Good blade, just be sure to get one that is in good shape.

I'm just going to say what I've heard which is that I've heard people say that they prefer the vintage ones to the new ones. You should be able to find the posts about it

DITTO on the vintage G&F razors. I've heard negative talk about the new version. I have a vintage G&F 'ÁDORATION' and love it.
