Nice razors Stimpy, Several days ago, at an antique shop, I found a "Henry Buss & Son" New York on one side and "Fully Warranted, Germany" on the other. I cleaned & honed it up and shaved with it the following day. It was one of the smoothest shaves I have had to date. I am anxious to try the "Joseph Rogers and Sons" when that comes back from getting honed, as well as two other razors.

    an Ohio Hollinger
In 1919, Hollinger Cutlery Co., Fremont, Ohio was in the list of American kitchen, butcher, and industrial knifemakers.

Two different companies, Stimpy. One was based in New York, one in Freemont, Ohio. The Ohio Hollinger company - Hollinger Cutlery Co / Knife Manufacturers were mainly responsible for selling knives, but imported other goods like razors. The company lasted for quite a while - George DeRan worked for them and then run the company as owner in the late 1950s. It is supposed to have ceased operations in 1958, other sources say 1950.

    Regards,
    Neil

    Yep - that's what I said.

He bought a controlling interest the company.
