I like the way french points look but have never used one. out of those listed, the barbers notches are nice.

Round and square are alright to shave with but so vanilla/chocolate. I probably like a notch best but a Spanish or French is great too. I have a mustache and trimming above it, shaping it, is so much easier with those points. Getting up around the nostrils and such. Notch, Spanish and French points also look way cool if that is a consideration.

Thanked: 3Spanish, French, notch in that order. Spanish are friendly and get into tight places, French require a deft touch and reward a gentle precision and look very, very scaryl, notch just look cool and don't leave scars.

Thanked: 4942I really like a spike point, but my ear lobes hate them, so I am gonna have to go with round or square point although obliques are pretty nice when you can find them.
Have fun.

Oh man, if a thread ever cried out for a poll, this may be it!
For me a barbers notch just edges out a French point. But only just...
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
