    The satin finish used by Hart is about a 400 grit finish. I would start with 400 grit. Sand at an angle across the satin finish scratches until the satin finish is gone. Then, start working your way up the grits.

    Leave it the way it was made,the way it was intended to be.far to many blades are being transformed today by quasi restroreists into things they never were.

    If you have a high speed polisher wheel with a leather wheel it's simple. You just have to be careful. Otherwise it's a lot of work like Tim says.
