Nice score. I would take stimpy52's generous offer to hone it for you.

Thanked: 33Razor came today. A few spots on the blade that I'm guessing is pitting, but not near edge. Finish is shine.
Spine is not even, so guessing there is some poor honing technique somewhere along the way. Not too bad though.
Edge not near sharp enough.
Stimpy, I sent a PM

That's a fine razor and I am sure you will be pleased with it once its cleaned up and honed by one of your New York brothers. Have fun with it.

Thanked: 33I have no issue with that. I feel like I'm getting a guarantee that way. If its sharp enough for an experienced shaver, its sharp enough for me.
I only have new, professionally honed razors...this is my first go with a vintage. Wasn't really planning on it, but something about it interested me, and for the price I would get over it even if it was junk.
At some point I will need to learn how to hone. Until then, it seems there are plenty of resources here to utilize!
