Thanked: 2"Ground in Australia."
A client of mine is an olden days barber, after hearing about my affliction of RAD, he showed me some of his old ones and gifted me one.
It is a beautiful old hollow ground with no brand on the 'normal' side of the tang. On the opposite side it only says 'Ground in Australia.' It's box is very faded and I can only make out ?Crow? Razor hollow ground.
Could anyone shed some light on the origins?
Many thanks in advance

At one point for the poor folk local fare was all that was affordable.
Some of my best shavers are off "Brand" if you will razors.
Post up some pictures and a few far more educated and advanced will guide you.
But do not write that blade off yet, only a good hone and a few shaves will tell you what you really have

Thanked: 2I am not writing it off, the barber that gave it to me still used it up until now as what he called a 'neckie.' He had an old Norton that he brought to show me in such an old box it was amazing, and a really old, but relatively new to him, EZ Lap.
To other razor porn lovers, I will post as soon as I can a photo or seven!
