    Thanks Attila. It is beautiful and it shaves as good as it looks. I took the photo to highlight the scales, but what really turns me on about this razor is the blade profile. It has a slight smile to the spine which is parallel with the slight smile to the edge. I think all razors are best made with that profile. Additionally, the white dots seen on the top of the spine in the earlier posted photo are pearl inlays. Here is a photo of the blade only that I took to demonstrate to a custom maker how I think an ideal blade profile should look ;

    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    I agree - the shape of that blade is gorgeous, really stunning. Looks like it shaves very nice as well. Congrats, that's a beauty!

    entropy must resist ..... at least until you come into the Mastro Livi's lab them it is impossible to resist! However flying over the photographs that I sometimes are loaded upside down, this small cabinet to hold the razor is very useful.

    Dear Rasorguy, You are in the same city with mastro Livi and you have "motive and opportunity" to visit him frequently. When you go there, please say hallo to him and thank him in behalf of me for my beatiful artwork.

    I know I am very lucky for living not so far from Mastro Livi's workshop and I frequently take advantage of this by going there every time I can.
    I will certainly give Mastro Livi your regards and appreciation the next time I go there. I however wish you to visit his workshop very soon: it is worth the ride!
