Thread: Looking for some advice on sleeving this razor

    Just me, but I would sleeve it and double washer on the front side and see how that starts, you can then do a bit of directional peening or sand the scales to fit on the backside thinner.
    Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

    I'm hoping doubling up on the washers solves the problems. As I mentioned before, I have never tried to fashion scales and pin a razor. It would be lovely if my first project wasn't outside of my skillset

    You can do it.If properly sleeved you do not need double washers,one thrust washer on each side will work fine.
    using any more than that is not the right way to scale a razor,JMO
