    I knew nothing of these razors before this. I believe I have seen these blades at an antique store in the past. I will surely be keeping an eye open for these blades now. Very cool!

    Good for you! If it falls through I have a few straights, DE's or SE's I'd be happy to trade.

    Why is it I can have absolutely no interest in DE's and yet be jealous here.

    Inflation, if they were around today they'd be $30.00 a pack ......

    Here is a link to another thread I posted after figuring out how to adapt modern blades to the W&B razor head. Needle nose pliers are your friend ;

    Correct me if I'm wrong, since I don't know a lot about DE's, but can't the blades be honed on one of the concave hones and stropped in one of the old vintage stroppers?

    Yes but you need to have the correct blade for the given razor to start with.

    Well, yeah, that makes sense...

    I meant if you managed to come across one that still had the blade.

    I have an unopened 5 pack which is going to remain that way. I did take my unopened 1 blade pack and tried to shave with it. No luck with that on my face. I took a shot at honing it on a regular stone and it is too difficult, IME, to maintain a correct angle. I might try slurry in a water glass and see if the curve in the blade might match the curve in the glass.
