    I had some dude in Idaho suggest Ren Wax just the other day!! I've been using mineral oil, I hadn't been using anything for fear of it messing up the scales. I've just been wiping it on, very lightly, then wiping the excess off with a dry cloth.

    Just like donv, I just put a nice thin layer on my blades. Haven't had Amy rust problems.. Then again I do like in Vegas, so humidity isn't an issue at all.

    No humidity here as well, not as hot as you guys, only hit 109 today. I hadn't been using anything, just drying them, stropping them then letting them air dry for a while and put them away. Then, a week ago, the horror! A spot of rust!! But, it was due to me being lazy and not being as diligent in my routine. But, oil is part of the routine from now on.
