just aquired a new razor which appears to be a 5/8 made by holtazapffel & co which i did some online reseach

they made lathes around 17 and 19 century

the antique store i go to too had a new razor it was a pakki razor that was 7/8 and she wanted $90 so i said that i was worth bugger all

but you might be able flog it off to somebody else

oh sorry for the double post but has any one got a dd bresduck 5/8 blade as i got some grim weaper scales

ive got a 7/8 bengall as a blade only. the blade got very little hone wear and cleaned up very well

i know baldy got a w&b 8/8 but any body else got the famous chopper

my current rotation is

bengall 6/8 and 7/8
joespth rodgers 6/8
puma 4/8
c-mon blackie 6/8

mostly bengall i did find a puma 4/8 once. in katherine and was in good shape dispite the
high humity

but for the life of me i cant find any w&b i doubt they were ever imported into australia...
