Thanks, that pretty much what I assumed. It's still a nice razor even with the hone wear. Ill send it out anyway. I can't complain, it was free after all.

A friend of mine gave me a Dovo special 6/8 that he got as part of a set of barber supplies for his wife. It looks fairly new but it has quite a bit if hone wear. Just wondering if this was common...
