    This explained the fine cracks and the leaching of the white material (magnesium) from the stone I own. No hot water folks!

    Got cracks in my 1K also. Soak less enjoy it...

    Got cracks in my 1K also. Soak less enjoy it more. Never use hot water, it causes a weird white effluent.
