For lack of better terminology, I used the "hot bowl" title for this application based on a you tube video I watched.

What I find works well is to submerge it into a sink of hot water then shower....

this thing is crazy though, it holds so much heat that in my cold house (67-69 degrees) steam bellows from it. It actually really dries the lather out when your not paying...
