My R89 lines up the blade perfectly, at least to my eyes. My Merkur 23C also lines up blades perfectly.

I just finished my second shave with the Mühle R89 today, and so far it has been much, much smoother than my Merkur 23C. I have yet to get nicked by the R89 using the same shaving...

I should be able to tell you in a couple of days... I just bought one off of somebody here on the forum, and it should be arriving tomorrow.

I can tell you from the pictures that it looks damn...
