I have yet to take on a restore but I hope to some day. Someone else may speak to it but the really MAIN BIG HUGE THING here is the razor has to be SHARP....SHAVE READY SHARP! That is so important...

I know I would not hold that razor to my face in it's current condition. At the very least you are looking at some restoring and honing....probably not a great place to start. They are nice razors...
