I have taken this as far as I am going to. Bone scales with brown horn wedge. I didn't try to darken the etching Maybe in the future.

you are correct about the 3M. I think a rag and a little time was good advice. I was using a paper towel and I think that was the problem

yea I tried that it don't seam to be doing much cleaning. If it wasn't for the etching I could go right to the buffer and I think this would come out like new. Now I have a dilemma.

I wish I knew a way o darken it. I already cleaned off the active rust with WD40 and some 0000 steel wool. and I think the the etching may be lost after i Get to really finishing this. I already can...
