I think that a few trips on the DMTEE would be just fine, followed by some pastes.

I hit mine up with 6 micron (8k) and 3 micron (4k) diamond...

1st shave with the 1/4 grind LeGrelot this morning:

Loved the thumbnotch grip. Loved the heavy grind, the razor seemed more "forgiving" than a thinner grind.:y

I will most likely re-scale it myself at some point, but for now putting a fine edge on it is what I'm after.

Surprisingly hefty, hefty blade. I like it!

And the scales are somehow nicer than the regular plastic scales, I can't quite figure out what it is about them, but...
