Thanked: 735Legrelot 1/4 grind
Just arrived yesterday!
Surprisingly hefty, hefty blade. I like it!
And the scales are somehow nicer than the regular plastic scales, I can't quite figure out what it is about them, but they are not bad at all.
Razor needs more honing, and will enter the rotation next week. Love the thumbnotch, feels great.

I received mine something like a little more than three weeks ago... and I just love to shave with it
The plastic scales are really comfortable (now you can buy the same blade but with ebony, bone or horn scales if you don't like the plastic ones - or have more money) and the razor is well balanced...
A great shaver ! (I had my first shaves with it, and it was just... wonderful)

Thanked: 735I'm looking forward to the shave!
I will most likely re-scale it myself at some point, but for now putting a fine edge on it is what I'm after.
It is definitely a beauty!

Martin Nienberg sells them. But usually he updates the German language part of his site before the English one... So be sure to choose the German language on the starting page or goes to http://www.rasurpur.de/shop/shop.html and choose the menu saying Le Grelot spezial II (http://www.rasurpur.de/shop/straight...relspctwo.html)
You didn't hear it from me... secret...

Thanked: 735DOH!
Yup, this little gem is gonna put the hurt on some guy's wallet!
Go to the site and see the large image of this one, really looks dynamite! Just be sure your credit card is out of reach before entering the site....

Thanked: 953I bought one with black plastic scales from Martin and it is WONDERFUL. And it came shave ready to boot. Martin does touch up honing if he thinks he needs to. It's very well balanced so it's light and maneuverable on the hand but heavy on the beard.

The prices seem really high on the German page even for the plastic scaled razors. I may be missing something, not being able to read German.
