Holy Cow! What a sweet lookin razor!

By the way, for all you guys that do your own hair, the Kimchee Kamisori has my vote for head razor of all time. I had a weeks worth of growth and didn't even clipper it down (as I usually do.) I found that due to the razor's size, I can actually do a back to front (ATG) pass (which for me at least is impossible with a conventional straight.) My spud is catfish belly smooth.

I am kicking this week off with a razor I don't tend to use very often. This Le Grelot, however, deserves far more attention than I give it. It was lovingly restored by Maximillian who reground it, and rescaled it in some gorgeous butterscotch scales. The razor paired well with another product I don't tend to use often lately - my MNS O/C/BP. The citrus scent filled the den as I whipped up a luxurious lather and I was soon transported to shaving nirvana. Two quick passes later, and my 3 days of stubble was wiped clean! I am BBS and ready to face a new work week!

    PREP - Cold Water Splash
    SOAP - Jabonman / Musk-Flor De Te'
    BRUSH - Hess #4
    RAZOR - Ali's Blade 9/8
    POST - Alum Block

I must have been a little heavy handed, certainly felt the sting from the Alum Block post shave.
But all in all, a good clean shave.
