    Sunday night
    Hot water prep
Palmera SE razor (early 1900's) - L'Occitane CADE sc - custom silvertip badger - cold water splash - Thayer's rose petal witch hazel resplash - Proraso asb - hot towel - Azemour EdT sample from Parfum d'Empire

After a great relaxing holiday in the hills of Tuscany it's back to work and also to the fora. This came in over the holidays and I simply had to try it. Cleaned the razor and it's hollow ground blade, honed it and shaved. Still a bit scritchy-scratchy, but BBS after two passes, so nearly there.
The Azemour is a very citrussy scent. Not really for me. I ordered the whole collection as samples, just to see if there's anything enticing. The panorama is from the Val d'Orcia, one of the most beautiful valleys in Tuscany.

    Default Relaxing late night shave

I haven't been this relaxed after a shave in a while!

    - Warm Shower
    - Anthony's Pre-Shave Oil
    - Vulfix Badger Brush
    - Williams Mug Soap
    - Dorken (Made In USA) 5/8"
    - Real Shaving Co. - Anti-Wrinkle Post Shave Cream

Nothing fancy just a fine shave.

    Pre-Shave - Clean & Clear face wash
    Brush - Vie-Long horsehair
    Soap - Palmolive
    Mug - James Kent scuttle
    Razor - 11/16 W. Hawcroft & Sons wedge

This razor has a great feel in the hand, due to the thumb cutaway and fine and coarse jimping on the bottom and top of the tang respectively. There was a little bit of sting present, so I'm going to run it on the abrasive strops to polish it up for later shaves. I wish everyone a great week of smooth shaves
