Saturday evening
Hot water prep
Bartmann razor - Maca root cream - Barbershop brush - cold water splash - L'Oreal balm - hot towel - crew cut from the wife hot shower - Alamut EdT sampler Lorenzo Villoresi
An unusual Saturday evening shave for me. Tomorrow we're going to my aunt and I didn't want to wake up at the crack of dawn. A very nice and relaxing shave accompanied by the tunes of Duke Jordan - Flight to Denmark. Great piano stuff. Earlier this evening I made some tasty Surinam food with yardlong beans and shrimps, which was well received by the girls even though it was a tad bit spicy. Right now, I'm winding down with a Bintang beer from Indonesia. Have a nice evening gents!

Lukewarm Shower, Sanguine R5, VDH Boar, C.O. Bigelow, Skin Bracer, Old Spice Fiji, Murray's Australian Bees Wax
This razor is the real deal fellas. I've seen Derby blades take a lot of bad hits but I don't find them harsh at all but just plain old aggressive. Shavettes also are not the subject of universal approval but if you are a shavette guy, I would definitely recommend this one over the Dovo. The Sanguine at less than half the price delivers twice the quality and ridiculously BBS shaves.
PS: Here's the soundtrack to today's shave. This kid is really good.
