    SUNDAY
May this week reward you for all the times that rewards didn’t happen!

    Hot shower prep
    Razor: C-MON “BLACKIE"
    Soap: Vintage WILLIAMS
    Mug: Professional ~1930’s
    Brush: Ever-Ready
    Aftershock: Alum bock
    Splash: Bay Rum

The Day? A bright chill day with a high wind and scuttling leaves. The Shave? Finally got the edge and the angle right for this great razor. The NOS Williams is as always a chancy bet. It was smooth and creamy today. All in all the shave was a pleasant spending of my time.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    Sunday evening
    Hot water prep
Gillette Toggle razor - Feather blade - Setting "9" - generic silvertip badger brush - Acca Kappa 1869 cream - cold water splash - Thayer's witch hazel rose re-splash - Alum - Dove hydrating cream - Mitchell's pure lanolin - Farina original Eau de Cologne EdT

Didn't want to break my normal routine, so decided to shave with the Toggle on 9 with a Feather today. The ATG went fine and I should just have left it at that. The WTG was performed in an over-confident way and thus I pay now. I may have taken off a full layer of skin this time. Burn is the word. Man those Feathers are sharp. Damn!
Decided to put the lanolin treatment to work, which was planned anyway as the days are getting colder and the skin needs a bit of extra help. Have a great week gentlemen!
