15/16 Filarmonica Novodur #14, Full Hollow Ground, Square Point
    Kanayama No.3 Strop
    Custom Simpson Duke 3 Silvertip
    JabonMan Lima-Incienso
    Proraso Splash
    Creed Green Irish Tweed

After 8 weeks of sole DE use due to a double nerve compression in my neck/upper back, I finally got to use this NOS Novodur that I acquired at the time of onset of my symptoms. The Filly still carries the factory edge as I have been unable to use my hones, but that didn't detract from this morning's shave. Quite the opposite in fact, the edge is simply superb just the way it came.
Man, am I glad to get back to straights once again!

Absolutely beautiful razor David, if I'm not mistaken the country of Argentina comes to mind? I almost pulled the trigger on the other NOS Novodur he was selling, but became scared of being stung with import duty.

Thank you, Jamie, and you are spot on with the origin. In fact, this one and the DT14 you wonderfully restored, both came from Argentina. I was also very, very lucky that both sailed through Customs without a hitch.

    Carl,
Wonderful news about Bailey, I am just having a little deja vu though, as I was wondering how the little guy was doing yesterday. Glad to see he got the sling off his arm too! Thanks for keeping us updated.

Thank you, Joe, and yes, I'm feeling much better now. I have been advised that I'll be able to return to work in another week.
