    Monday evening
    Hot water prep
Greaves 15/16 razor - Ueberlather in bowl from Olivia's Eichenmoss, Palmolive cream and a drop of glycerin - New Forest badger brush - cold water splash - Thayer's rose resplash - Calani purissima balm - hot shower - Lorenzo Villoresi sampler "wild lavender" EdT

A very satisfying shave to the tunes of Stan Getz and Oscar Peterson. The Greaves is back in my rotation and it's a champ. Silky smooth in two passes. Today in the plane back from KRK to AMS I wondered again how big this planet actually is and how small we humans are. The universe is a mighty big space and the edge on the Greaves satisfyingly small and sharp and smooth. It somehow all came together today.

ama015; is that a TI Crown Silverwing in its vintage Cuban Mahogany scales? Nice!

My shave this Tuesday morning, still without a pic I'm afraid:

    Musgo Real pre-shave oil
Sapone da Barba Vegetale alla Mandorla
Mühle Basic #02 shave brush, 21mm STF
13/16” TOWA, full hollow Japanese straight
    Bloc Osma Alum
    Musgo Real Classic after shave

A beautifully relaxing 2-pass shave. My son started grabbing me by the legs and trying hard to see what I was doing and particularly to see if he could grab the soap bowl (he loves my Italien soft soap ;-) just as I was finishing up the right cheeck across the grain so decided to go for the DE to finish off the neck.

You flatter me (not that it's unwelcome ), but the answer is "No". What I am doing is using a table-top tripod that's mostly balanced on two legs at the sink -- even that helps. I really really enjoy this SOTD forum. I know how much time is required to compose a shot, take it, perform any post-processing, then upload and post it (and write the accompanying description) -- and then I remember that many (most?) of us aren't retired or "gainfully unemployed", like I am, and that they do this before going off to a (hopefully) full day's work... and I appreciate their efforts and "product" all the more. The way to add value to a hobby is through sharing it, and SRP -- the forum and its many members -- enables us to do just that.
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

    Puma No.1938 5/8 full hollow
    Kanayama cordovan #8000
    Rooney heritage stubby 2
    Mitchell's wool fat
    Witch hazel
    Una Brennan rose moisturiser
    Guerlain vetiver Edt

This Puma has to be one of the most user friendly razor I own, with it's patented special muted point making it very easy to use and this razor the perfect introduction choice for any newbie to straight razor shaving in my opinion.
